The presenter will help participants explore how they can reflect upon many of the current trends touched upon in his keynote talk. He will also discuss how we can benefit from making connections between these trends and the use of social media as well as the participatory culture that it promotes. The presenter will share ways to harness this compelling and engaging activity in order to promote language practice. The presenter will encourage participants to work in groups to design interactive activities.
